RoCon won this project through the formal bid process at the University of lowa. We worked with architects, engineers, and project managers in order to complete this project on time and within budget. This project included some demolition of walls and flooring (including some of the terrazzo flooring and base). The finish scope included providing door frames and doors, glazing and frames, wood trim, metal stud framing, drywall and finishing, flooring, painting and staining, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The goal for this project was to provide a look into what an actual dorm room looks like and is visible any time the lowa Memorial Union is open. This project is a stopping point of every new student tour.
